Cerner Millennium® Services is a comprehensive electronic health record that seamlessly and securely connects every aspect of care to the patient, along with Cerner's other Open Platforms with HealtheIntent and CareAware®. Part of the Millennium Cloud Services platform team as a Full-Stack Software Engineer and additionally handling responsibilities of a Systems Engineer.

Major Contributions

R&D of self-serving, self-healing software modules that can reduce workload, increase visibility, perform abstracted troubleshooting, for the platform operations team. Developing monitoring dashboard for 2000+ servers grouped in domains. Built cross-organization Tool for checking health of servers, health of their dependencies, services running on those servers, current domain status, re-deploy / reinstate services on the servers. Providing mechanisms for end-user to suppress alerts when performing changes to the servers or their dependencies. Part of small team managing 2200+ chef nodes, performing weekly service code patching & service troubleshooting. Involved in requirement gathering, designing and assigning tasks as required.

Enterprise Automation Dashboard is a prototype service for managing and automating operational tasks for any Operations & Maintenance team. Perform agile based delivery to enable true DevOps. Core member of a trio, building the front and backend services supporting automation using orchestrated with Selenium & Jenkins.

Major Contribution

Lead developer for monitoring solution aimed at creating cost-effective Operations, Maintenance and Test automation. A single point solution for handling activities such as scheduling, monitoring and creation of operational tasks. Developed a single-interfaced calendar to view all tasks scheduled, executed, running which worked as a single dashboard for viewing for all activities that were scheduled currently, in the past or future in a weekly manner.

Major Contributions

Contributed as a core team member in handling multiple applications being handed-off from development phase into Operations & Maintenance. Duties included design document review, organization of operational tasks per application, estimate level of effort for app mainteanance.

Successfully re-engineered existing application code written in C# and PHP in order to fix long standing bugs, incomplete requirements for Patent examiners application
